Individual Psychotherapy
Currently, I only take a limited number of individual therapy clients based on fit. I tend to work with BIPOC individuals who specifically want to work through issues and strengths tied to sociocultural identity. For the majority of my employed career, I’ve worked in college counseling settings. As such, I have extensive experience treating mood disorders (all types of anxiety and depression diagnoses), perfectionism, relationship distress, and those navigating life transitions.
I aim to practice cultural humility, even with clients who share my core identities, and aim to make psychotherapy as inclusive as possible. I am deeply committed to providing culturally curious and sensitive treatment to every person or couple I work with and believe this is important for any type of psychotherapy to be effective.
