Individual Psychotherapy
Currently, I only take a limited number of individual therapy clients based on fit. I tend to work with BIPOC individuals who specifically want to work through issues and strengths tied to sociocultural identity. For the majority of my employed career, I worked in college counseling settings. As such, I have extensive experience treating mood disorders (all types of anxiety and depression diagnoses), perfectionism, academic/career challenges, relationship distress, and those navigating life transitions.
I aim to practice cultural humility, even with clients who share my core identities, and aim to make psychotherapy as inclusive as possible. I am deeply committed to providing culturally curious and sensitive treatment to every person or couple I work with and believe this is important for any type of psychotherapy to be effective.
