BIPOC Therapist

As a American born + raised psychologist of South Asian descent, I large portion of my caseload are individuals who identify as BIPOC. In addition to my lived experiences as person of color who identifies with multiple cultural and social groups, I have years of training + experience in understanding the psychological, physical, spiritual, and emotional impact of systemic, cultural, and interpersonal oppression for individuals who hold historically excluded identities and the challenges that come with coping with experiences of exclusion and a lack of belonging in various settings. I also work with many BIPOC couples and interracial couples where racial tensions and differences need to managed with careful attunement to both partners.
