Boston Parenting Coach
Parenting coaching is a collaborative, skills‑based process that supports co-parents and single caregivers in strengthening their confidence and effectiveness in raising children. It focuses on helping parents understand their child’s developmental needs, improve communication when “in the moment” decisions need to be made, and respond to challenging behaviors with greater intention and consistency. Though a part of this process may be identifying deeper issues parents need to work on or resolve in their individual therapy or a separate setting, parenting coaching focuses practical strategies—such as setting boundaries, fostering emotional regulation, properly repairing ruptures with children, and creating routines—that align with a family’s unique cultural values and dynamics. Through guidance, resources, reflection, and structured tools, parents can build healthier patterns at home, create or preserve a healthy bond with their children, and navigate difficult moments with more confidence and resilience. Coaching sessions are time limited, structured, and spaced out so parents have amply opportunity to apply strategies outside of sessions.
